    The 15th edition of the US in Progress @americanfi The 15th edition of the US in Progress @americanfilmfestival co-production forum has wrapped up yesterday in Wrocław. Our studio is among the oldest partners of the event and we had a pleasure to support it once again this year. Our awards went to two projects: “She Keeps Me Young” directed by Doron Max Hagay, produced by Tiny Giant, International Pigeon Production and “Take Me Home” directed by Liz Sargent, produced by Cyprian Films NY and All Caps. We will be helping to finish the films offering VFX and color grading services. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 15.edycja forum koprodukcyjnego US in Progress zakończyła się wczoraj we Wrocławiu. Nasze studio jest jednym z najstarszych partnerów wydarzenia i mieliśmy przyjemność wesprzeć je ponownie w tym roku. Nasze nagrody trafiły do dwóch projektów: „She Keeps Me Young” w reżyserii Dorona Maxa Hagaya, produkcji Tiny Giant i International Pigeon Production, oraz „Take Me Home” w reżyserii Liz Sargent, produkcji Cyprian Films NY i All Caps.     Już za chwilę startuje tegoroczny @festiwalkamer Już za chwilę startuje tegoroczny @festiwalkameraakcja. W sobotę 25 października w spotkaniu wokół repremier z WFO weźmie udział jeden z szefów naszego studia - Łukasz Ceranka. Repremiery to pokaz krótkometrażowych filmów z @wytworniafilmowoswiatowych po rekonstrukcji cyfrowej, w których zachował się obraz polski z lat 70. i 60. W programie znalazły się takie filmy jak „Kraksa” z muzyką Krzysztofa Komedy, „Interpretacje” z muzyką Krzysztofa Pendereckiego, „Obraz” Bogdana Dziworskiego, „Abakany” o twórczości Magdaleny Abakanowicz, „Cytat z raportu” Andrzeja Szczygła, „Na wyjeździe” Andrzeja Barańskiego oraz „Kronika fabryki fajansu” Andrzeja Papuzińskiego. Po pokazie odbędzie się rozmowa, podczas której Łukasz opowie o rekonstrukcji cyfrowej, na której zna się jak mało kto! 😎 #rekonstrukcja #restoration #rekonstrukcjacyfrowa #dziedzictwokulturowe
    Here comes some pics from our panel "Not What We A Here comes some pics from our panel "Not What We Asked For: Learning From AI Failures in Postproduction," which took place on Friday as part of #WarsawIndustryDays, accompanying the 41st @@warsaw.film.festival. We presented a case study of the restoration of Franciszka and Stefan Themerson's lost film. Piotr Jędruszczak and Volha Bandarenka have been leading the project at Fixafilm for two years. The discussion, which also included our colleagues from other postproduction studios, was moderated by Marta Bałaga (Variety, Cineuropa). The panel was co-organized by the Polish Postproduction Association, of which we are an active member. 🗣🗣🗣 Możemy się jeszcze podzielić kilkoma zdjęciami z piątkowego panelu "Not What We Asked For: Learning From AI Failures in Postproduction", w którym wzięliśmy udział. Panel odbył się w ramach Warsaw Industry Days, wydarzenia branżowego towarzyszącego 41. Warsaw Film Festival. Zaprezentowaliśmy case study odtwarzania zaginionego filmu "Spięcie" Franciszki i Stefana Themersonów. W Fixafilm projekt od 2 lat prowadzą Piotr Jędruszczak i Volha Bandarenka. Rozmowę, w której wzięli też udział nasi koledzy i koleżanki z innych studiów postprodukcyjnych moderowała Marta Bałaga (Variety, Cineuropa).     Next Friday (October 17th), our representative Pio Next Friday (October 17th), our representative Piotr Jędruszczak will participate in a panel "Not What We Asked For: Learning from AI Failures in Postproduction," as a part of Warsaw Industry Days 2025. Piotr will present the attempts to recreate the lost Themersons' film using new technologies. The panel is co-organized by the Polish Postproduction Association @post_fighters .
