Sang is one of many children conceived by American soldiers during the Vietnam War. Throughout his life, he was treated as an outcast by society. He lived in poverty and amidst prejudice. Although he managed to start a family, he and his wife believe he is haunted by a curse. He hopes to break it by reconciling with his daughters and traveling to his biological father in New York.
